It's fairly easy to declare a wreck protected. It's damn near impossible to actually protect it. Now we learn that couch potato fodder Richie Kohler and John Chatterton are not only involved in stealing telegraphs and other things that make shipwrecks so interesting for divers, they and their pals are actually boasting about looting and robbing war graves. I guess it's no surprise really but you know it does seem the scuba looting problem is a lot worse than it used to be. |
