entire point. I have been diving since the 1960's and I have seen good and bad on both sides. You talk from what you have personally experienced , but I have also experienced just the opposite. Neither gender, race, creed, or geographical origin has anything to do with who will be a better diver. You and those like you are still perpetuating a stereotype. Yes there are men out there who act macho and in some cases act like pure a**holes and there is no denying this. Yet on the other hand I
have been diving with women who are experienced divers whom I have to help overwhelming with their gear, help them during the dive and watch them vomit excessively from sea-sickness while the guys are casually having a relaxing time. I have seen women scared out of their wits while guys are laughing and having a ball. I have seen women disorganized and I have seen the same in men. Its on both sides. YOU need to chill, not me. From what you have experienced on one side ,I have experienced from
the opposite side ,yet I still will not engage in the blatant stereotyping which is precisely what this is engaging in. Its that simple !!!!! |
