September 21, 2007 at 23:21:02I would like to clarify about the recent shark attack in the Solomon Islands. Corey Howell is the owner of Wilderness Lodge situated on the south-eastern end of
Marovo Lagoon, where he specialises in spearfishing . I am told, whilst spearfishing, his attack was somewhere in his local area which is over 80 miles away from Gizo. My husband and I own a (company in this area) where we provide scuba diving services and do not do shark feeds. We do not need to do shark feeds due to the healthy fish stocks and regular shark sightings on many of our dive sites between Gizo and Munda. |
