Bahamas shark attack: we all lose...

I've been on the Shearwater for shark and dolphins dive. When you sign in you are warned of the danger of doing it as well as the risk of not encountering the sharks. No one fed the sharks, yet placed baits on the reefs so we could watch, film or take pictures.  Again we were all adults and well warned about it. My opinion about sharks, changed after that dive. I'm sorry about the diver that died, but i'm also sorry because one incident can so easily bring back the feeling that sharks are killers and fill the press with terrible images.  Knowing the crew of Shearwater I'm sure they did their best to prevent the accident, to attend the diver and keep the other divers safety.
