Ban shark feeding and dolphin swims...

Jungles with tigers, the African savannah with lions and hyenas, I think we can all agree that it is clear humans would be at risk entering those environments and then feeding these animals in order to watch their "natural" behaviour.

Shark feeding is the exact same level of foolishness.  Scuba (and safari) should be about minimizing human behavioural presence in order to maximize observation of the entire environment - flora and fauna.  Look at the reef don't touch, look at the fish, sharks and eels, don't touch and for heaven's sake - don't feed!

When I went on safari, any feeding of any animals was against the law, but I still saw some idiots feeding monkeys at a picnic area. With my big telephoto, I got a close up photo of the monkey's teeth..... the feeder was lucky and I stayed far away.

On one dive I saw reef sharks from a distance - I kept a close eye on them and did not pursue and frankly was relieved when they moved along and away. A thrill to see and a reief to see leave.

As to dolphins, there should be a ban on all commercial feed/swims with wild dolphins too. This is not natural behaviour and dolphins are wild animals, most likely safer than sharks, but unpredictable. Dolphins have the documented ability to kill sharks, they could do the same to humans.
