More human contact will help protect sharks...

No one can deny that the one and only reason the mountain gorillas of Rwanda/Uganda have survived is due to tourism - the ability for people to visit them, and hense  their profile in the environmentalist world. This fact can be transferred to the shark feeding debate.  More human contact, in the form of shark feeding, or whatever it takes, to a statistically irrelevant portion of the world's shark  population will help raise awareness and will only benefit the species.
