Greg Holt, Scuba Radio ruined the dive industry shark feeding campaign with lies and dirty tricks...

Greg Holt and Scuba Radio destroyed the credibility of the dive industry with a campaign of lies and dirty tricks.  That's why the conservation officials in Florida voted to ban shark feeding.

Holt lied about environmentalists and spammed Cyber Diver's shark feeding survey and newsletter sign-up forms in a crude attempt to disparage his adversaries.  As someone already said in this discussion, Holt's online rant in the message boards was all documented and sent to FWC officials.

And it was also a matter of record that DEMA, PADI, NAUI and DAN backed Holt's dirty tricks strategy and the stupid "We Love Shark Feeding" web site Holt rushed onto the net.

It was pathetic really.  The dive industry established GIMEC to green-wash shark feeding and give the whole enterprise respectability.  That was a good plan but Holt ruined it with his name-calling, profanity and obnoxious ugly attitude towards the Humane Society, National Geographic and respected international environmental groups.

As CDNN said, the dive industry was its own worst enemy and there's no question that Greg Holt and Scuba Radio put the shark feeders out of business (not the environmental groups).
