	The problem with 'my kid can scuba dive--therefore all kids can scuba dive'... John B - Instructor/Dive center staff December 8, 2007 at 09:13:31 Sure there are kids that can dive--I was one of them starting at age 8.  I was also driving a car at age 10. So should we change existing laws to invite all kids to become drivers because a few are mature enough at age 10 or 12 or 14 to do so safely? The issue is not whether a few exceptional kids can scuba dive; it's whether certification agencies should be inviting ALL CHILDREN to take the plunge in order to grow the industry.
