August 12, 2008 at 17:39:47Having been entangled in kelp many times and almost drowning twice I know exactly what this man went through. It is an experience that evokes absolute panic and fear as you struggle desperately for a gulp
of air that may never come. My heart goes out to Mr. Belluomini and his family and I advise all divers to really avoid thick kelp when out there. Also, know your limits and give yourself plenty of air to get to the surface. |
