	Cancel Florida's lobster mini-season... Bob - Instructor / Dive store operator August 4, 2008 at 09:14:52 I have for many years been convinced that the state of Florida must cancel the two day onslaught of inexperienced divers rampaging the reefs to fill their need for a few lobsters. The real lobster season lasts for 8 months. There is no reason to create a drunken festival for testosterine filled divers to fight over small patches of reef, place trapping devices such as pvc pipe in the water days prior to the mini-season, and try to get away with hundreds of lobster without beeing caught by the authorities. The many deaths attributed to the two days of beer and diving should have proven to the authorities long ago that it is only giving Florida a bad rap for a few divers greed. End it now.
