SSI Australia are dodgy...

SQ - Instructor / Dive professional
July 2, 2008 at 07:16:46

I spent several months working for a SSI dealer in Cairns. During this time i witnessed an open water diver graduate as an instructor certifier within 6 to 8 months. Col McKenzie regularly takes thousands of dollars from anyone who will pay for a crappy instructor certifier course. I wonder how many people have these dodgy qualifications and how many of these people will one day train someone who will yet again cause our industry harm, Col Mckenzie should be fully investigated and charged with breaches of Australian standards.
