We're fortunate to know there even WAS a scuba diving accident...

Paul, if you review some of the comments in this thread about scuba diving fatalities that were never reported, you will understand that we are fortunate to get whatever information we can from CDNN about accidents around the world. I searched for more information about this accident and there is nothing about it from the big news networks or any of the news sites in the Philippines. From where I'm standing it's pretty obvious there is an industry-wide effort to suppress any and all information about scuba diving accidents. When accidents do get reported and eventually show up on dive industry-controlled scuba boards, there are corrupt, industry insiders (aka "moderators") standing by to blame the victims ("...the diver is always responsible blah, blah, blah...").
