Kelly M - OW/Advertising October 17, 2007 at 11:31:06 Re: "...My brother-in-law drowned while diving in Florida...with my sister..she is having tremendous guilt that she could have done more to save him."  Dan First, it only takes seconds to drown while scuba diving.  Whether your sister actually could have done more to save her husband depends on many factors including the dive profile, the conditions, her training and her experience.  Even the most experienced divers with rescue training may not be able to help a diver who encounters problems at depth.
