David, given the choice between a career as a builder, which seems to be what you're doing now, and a career as a scuba diving instructor, I think you would be much better off building.  It's a far more demanding trade but the peer group is better and so is the money. If you're a good builder, your future is pretty secure.  But as one of a thousands and thousands of Go Pro fodder competing for the handful of job openings the dive industry actually generates every year, you're on the wrong side of the supply and demand equation. At the end of the day, life as a builder will be far more fulfilling than life as a dive boat hostess catering to frivolous tourist whims.
