Right or wrong Jim, I'm with Clayton...Joe B - Rescue Diver/Company Owner August 30, 2007 at 17:51:38Re: "Who are you to dictate punishment just because the government of Antigua does not agree with your views?" Jim R |

While you are hunting down Clayton in the IT world Jim (WATCH YOUR BACK CLAYTON!), I'm asking myself why you distorted his opinion. He's not "dictating"
anything to anybody nor does he suggest that he's in a position to do so. He's simply expressing his opinion based on how he feels ( "I have no sympathy for these guys"). I feel the same way. I feel absolutely no sympathy for people who holiday in countries that support Japan's brutal and inhumane slaughter of marine mammals. They could have booked their holiday in an eco-friendly place. The chose not to. They had a horrible
trip in Antigua. GOOD! May all visitors to Antigua experience the same pain and misery, and may all conscientious tourists take note and stop going there. I also feel no sympathy for the Japanese whaler who died last winter while killing whales. Did he deserve it? I believe he did but I'll defer final judgement to God. And I would not be the least bit sorry if the American football player recently convicted of killing
dogs got killed by one of them. To my way of thinking, it would be the deserved punishment that fits the crime. As for the old right and wrong debate, it's pretty obvious that's a non-starter in the travel industry. |
