SCUBA DIVING :: FORUMS :: NEWS :: SANDALS SCUBA DIVING ACCIDENT

The Sandals Regency St. Lucia is excellent...

First, kudos to CDNN for the report on the accident in Antigua.  I don't think anybody would have heard anything about it without CDNN's report because I didn't see anything about it anywhere else.  We all need to know about these accidents and check how the different companies respond when bad things happen.

That's the point really, isn't it? It's easy when everything goes right.  The test is how companies react when things go wrong.  In this case, I think Sandals in Antigua responded appropriately by immediately firing the people who failed in their duties.

I have been to only one Sandals (so far), the Sandals Regency in St. Lucia and it was perfect. I mean PERFECT!!!  All of the scuba diving we did was 100% free because it was included in the price, which was very reasonable.  The resort was incredibly beautiful, like a different world and the staff made us feel like royalty.

Finally, I want to say thanks to the CDNN editors for providing the diving community with the most reliable information about scuba diving.  Before, we got some nasty surprises because we made decisions based on magazine ads. Now we always research everything carefully on the net and we start at CDNN when we plan our scuba diving holidays.  Another scuba diving site we always check before we spend our money is the ScubaLinx.com web site.
