Why pay to scuba dive when it's 100% FREE at Sandals?Joshua C - AOW/Finance October 12, 2007 at 07:05:19C'mon Don, by your own admission the little guys are no better than the big guys. I read CDNN every day and what I've learned is that scuba
diving accidents are happening everywhere. I actually get the impression the risk is higher when we dive at the small dive shop owned by a husband and wife who tell us they are "our friends" but are doing very unfriendly things like cutting corners with staff and equipment because they can't make ends meet. Not to bash any particular company but all of the PADI marketing I have seen over the past decade or so seems bent on persuading me that all of the dive centers
in Antigua and Thailand and Hawaii and Fiji are exactly the same. Like you said, it's all been reduced to a commodity. So why should I pay $100 or more for "5-star diving" at Larry and Louise's dive shop when I can get the same or better diving at Sandals or Club Med or another resort for free? |
