Why smart divers don't go diving with Sandals...

You get what you pay for and essentially scuba diving at Sandals is free.  When scuba diving is devalued and reduced to a commodity that chain hotels exploit to fill beds, you lose quality control and oversight.  Not that smaller dive boat operators are necessarily better.  We all remember when Kelly's on the Bay in Florida was prosecuted and convicted for leaving two divers at sea. Still, I think the risk is significantly higher when you dive with big resorts like Sandals where scuba diving accidents do not threaten the survival nor the reputation of the company.
