We get tons of spam from Rodale's Scuba Diving magazine...

Couldn't disagree with you more hawgfish.  No question about it though, Rodale is the worst spammer in the diving industry.  Their spam is just about all ads and it starts "...you are receiving this email because you are a member of the dive industry" or something like that (not an exact quote--don't have time to check it now).

Anyway, I think you get the point--we never opted in and cannot unsubscribe several of our company email addresses that used to be listed on our web site.  I've heard other complaints, including customers who got spammed by Rodale after they went diving with one of the big Caribbean-based dive ops. Coincidence? Maybe...

For me, the Scuba Forum post-and-wait format is a much cleaner source of information and a better read than D2D but I think CDNN should expand the range of topics to include typical scuba stuff (meaning travel and equipment I guess).  I used to visit D2D but moved on a few years back--too much chatroom nonsense...
