	CDNN :: Woman dies scuba diving in Florida two days after learning to dive Powered by CDNN - CYBER DIVER News Network by LUTHER MONROE - CDNN Safety News Editor Renowned biology professor Dr. Nancy Kreiter died scuba diving with Reef Adventures in the Florida Keys.  Authorities said Dr. Kreiter had just learned to scuba dive and was taking medication for a severe cold and lung congestion. KEY LARGO, Florida (31 Dec 2007) — A woman on holiday with her family in the Florida Keys died while scuba diving off a commercial dive boat just two days after she learned to dive. Monroe County Sheriff's officials told CDNN that Dr. Nancy Kreiter, 50, a renowned biology professor at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland was scuba diving Sunday with her husband and two children in John Pennekamp State Park. The victim's husband said she had wanted to dive for at least 10 years so the family went to Florida on their vacation and took scuba diving lessons together...
