Wrong assumptions...

Teresa Mars - Non-Diver/Wife of Wave Dancer victim
June 15, 2005 at 23:25:46

The facts stated in the previous posting are completely wrong. Joe Burnworth, the author of No Safe Harbor, is not now, nor has he ever been, a member of the Richmond Dive Club.  He did not meet any of these people until this particular trip. The fact is that the RDC booked the whole Wave Dancer, but only 10 slots on the Belize Aggressor. The rest of the passengers on the Aggressor were just divers who happened to plan a trip at the same time. He has written a non-biased, factual account, based on many sources. He never even met my husband, Ray Mars.

He witnessed the horror of that night, and that is his reason for writing this factual, non-fictional account. As for contacting Captain Martin, who you think knows the facts, as far as any of us knows, he ran away, after being released from jail in Belize.  It would be impossible to contact him, or interview him, because he is apparently in hiding. Please check your information before making such statements, in fact, were you there? Or, do you know anyone who was? If not, how can you possibly comment with such authority?
