Can't get the Hughes monkey off my back...

Don't expect tourists - and that's what liveaboard divers are - to get very serious about anything until they become the victim. Like it or not, that's the mindset of people on holiday including the Wave Dancer victims.

The people who died on the Wave Dancer were repeat customers - Dancer groupies - who thought Hughes and his boats were the next best thing to heaven. Considering how quickly they made the transit from our world to the next, they may have been right.

One thing is certain: If they had not died in Belize, they would still be booking trips with Hughes and gushing about being pampered on his sexy boats.

Look at the Richmond Dive Club.  How much longer will those dancing fools be able to resist the temptation of another dancer with the Hughes monkey on their back?
