Shark bite...

Maybe someone needs to check with the guests on this charter because it was not a "Shark Feeding Dive".  The boat was at French Key and the guests knew that the long trip there during the night was to dive with the sharks.  THERE WAS NO SHARK FEEDING. There never is there.

The unfortunate woman had elected to snorkel instead of dive when she was hit on the surface by the shark.  There were divers in the water immediately below her. Fortunately her husband and another Doctor were onboard to use the boat's well stocked medical supply chest.

A tragic incident but not caused by the boat or it's crew. I have more than 500 dives at French Key and this is the first time I've heard of a shark hit. I pray that the woman has a speedy recovery.
