Not to worry--it was just a freak tornado...

Clive Middleton - Recreational Diver

The comments in Cyber Diver Hotline about the Hughes attempt to exploit the POSSIBILITY of a tornado to divert attention from an inquiry into human error are spot on. Such conduct is simply disgusting but reveals the nature of the company and Peter Hughes himself.  Nigel Benson makes the same point.  We must make a distinction between what turned the boat over and what killed the passengers.  Let us not forget as we listen to Peter Hughes deny responsibility and blame it all on a phantom tornado and a lack of available hotel rooms, that if the company had acted responsibly and moved everyone off the boat, they would still be alive today.  Tell me I'm wrong.
