When it comes to dive safety, they are a non-factor. Nobody here would call some telephone support person in North Carolina for help with a diving accident. Trust the local diver emergency medical support and the professionalism and emergency preparedness of the dive operator--forget about DAN and their off-shore tax-evasion scams.
