currently reading the PADI book ready for a 3 day course next weekend. I decided to go for some sort of formal training as I had been on quite a few resort dives, some to 60ft and felt that I should know a lot more about what I was doing.
I would be very happy to have a probation period after getting my OW certificate as, like driving, I feel that there is a lot to learn after the initial qualification. I certainly would not feel confident looking after a buddy after such a short
qualification period and would only dive with a divemaster for quite some time afterwards. Wish me luck because I love diving and have always wanted to do this properly. Babs |
