	Resort operators don't adhere to the certification standards... Sue Skidmore - PADI and SSI Instructor/Marketing April 19, 2006 at 18:09:02 I agree with most of the postings here....the big problem is that resort operators don't adhere to the certification standards. PADI "Scuba Divers" are not supposed to be taken deeper than 40 ft and must be supervised.  I've heard countless stories about resort course "graduates" being taken to depths of 100 ft.  I think it would be smart of PADI to address this directly with the operators themselves by some hands-on auditing, etc. Post a follow-up to this message CDNN HEADLINE NEWS     SPONSORED LINKS
