but not surprising. The entire scuba diving industry moves in lockstep and comments to the effect that it's all just alphabet soup are fairly accurate. I've heard a lot of dive shops are doing 2-day open water courses. I don't know how that impacts the accident rate but the reefs must be taking a terrible beating from divers who cannot control their buoyancy. |
