want and don't want to do. If people want to do a 1 day course, let them. Those that are serious can do more courses to become safer, and better at scuba diving can choose to. I'm all for safety personally, but to force it on people is wrong. We don't ask people to do a course before they ride a push bike, or ride a horse - of which more people are killed each year than scuba diving. Why should we force people to run rings for scuba diving too, when the only risk it poses
