Your editorial on the PADI Scuba Diver course points out the problem with PADI and its obsession with market share. For PADI dive center operators who always welcome another opportunity to make a buck, the quickie course is good news. For more responsible dive owners, the fact that entry-level divers will now have even less training is deeply troubling.
