	U.S. turns a blind eye to scuba diving injuries... Anthony - AOW/Medical Technician September 13, 2007 at 10:12:47 In most countries, governments have moved to establish regulations aimed at reducing scuba diving accidents.  Not so in the U.S however.  The U.S. is the only industrialized nation without universal health care and it is also the only country without any regulations aimed at reducing the scuba diving accident rate.  It is ironic that people who are so shamelessly patriotic and nationalistic feel so much contempt for their governmental institutions and such a lack of compassion for each other.
