I had no idea — thanks for the info on the global wildlife trade...

The sums — $300 billion annually — are staggering.  I really had no idea. Of course we are all aware of the problem with timber harvesting and crashing edible ocean species, but again, I was shocked to learn that they account for over 90 percent of the global wildlife trade.  I am going to use this information in my lesson plans.  Does anyone know how much money is involved in illegal trading of wildlife?
