Only David Albano of Scuba Adelaide and maybe Col Mackenzie of Dive Queensland could come up with something that crude: "We're thinking about taking legal action against you, therefore you must be guilty." Dumb--really dumb. I mean why would CDNN fabricate the comments? I don't see what they would have to gain by portraying David Oliver as an idiot.
If you didn't read the article, here's what Oliver said (according to CDNN): "We are active in water sports and while the shark remains in the water there is the prospect that danger still exists," Oliver told reporters. "Our public would feel a lot safer if that shark was removed from the water." Has anybody else noticed that Oliver himself has not denied making the comments? |
