Cathy, you know better than to defend DEMA's record on environmental issues and Cousteau's "Pay me, I'm yours" attitude. DEMA is a marketing operation designed to grow the industry--marketing and sales: PERIOD. You know that and so does everyone else after the DEMA debacle in Florida ruined not only their own image, but also the reputation of the dive industry they falsely claim to represent. While you applaud Cousteau for selling the family name at a $100,000 a pop no matter what eco-unfriendly campaign DEMA wants him to represent, I call it hypocrisy. How can anybody with half a brain in his head exploit sharks as some kind of an amusement park ride (see Anton's comment below) yet call himself a conservationist?
