Golf ball divers are commercial divers...

Contrary to what many believe, golf ball divers meet the OSHA definition of a commercial diver and must meet all OSHA requirements for commercial diving including medical, equipment, techniques and crew size. Dive shops that teach "Golf Ball Diving Speciality" courses usually fail to cover this aspect.
