Tom C The first thing we all need to understand is that anyone who says Gilboa Quarry is "safe" or "unsafe" is talking garbage.  There is no such thing as a "safe" dive site nor an "unsafe" dive site. The second thing we all need to understand is that we need to take personal responsibility for doing everything in our power to minimize the risks whenever and wherever we go diving. That includes not just divers but also dive operators. Mike Williams, the owner of Gilboa Quarry, must do everything within his power to reduce the risk of diver injury or death.
