What makes you and Mrs. Hugh Parkey think that people need some kind of interactive animal experience to want to protect the ocean and the wildlife it nurtures? Most people are intelligent enough to understand the planet, its oceans and many of its species are in trouble thanks to human greed and ignorance. Dolphin parks and other interactive animal experiences are part of the problem, not the solution because they fail to teach people the fundamental lesson of Conservation 101: Animals need space — plenty of it — to protect them from us. Habitat loss necessarily leads to species loss. I wonder how many other species have been pushed out of their natural habitat by Hugh Parkey's Dolphin Experience, which as you have stated, was built in a natural mangrove lagoon for the benefit of four captive dolphins and Mrs. Hugh Parkey's bank account.
