	DEMA: How to grow your dive shop by cheating divemaster trainees... Ron - Instructor/Sales November 21, 2007 at 22:37:30 I met a dive center owner at DEMA a few weeks ago who told me he has never spent a dime on staff salaries. What he described as his "work smarter, spend less, grow the bottom line" approach relies on cycling divemaster trainees in and out of the dive shop. Not only does he spend nothing on staff, the divemaster trainees have to pay for their "course" so in effect, they pay him to work at his dive center.  Go figure!
