Enough with DAN bashing, the article failed to identify which DAN agency, my guess is it must have been DAN AMERICA due to the insurance scams going on there, such a bad job at journalism has now tarnished the reputation of DAN in other regions.

I've been a top level DAN professional member with DAN EUROPE for many years and am fully satisfied with their policy's and recommend divers i train take out one, sure i also have full medical insurance which also covers me.

I've only good things to say about DAN EUROPE, plus it covers me where i primarily work and live and that would be ASIA where recompression fee's are astronomical and chambers and 'diving doctors' are scamming people by _ALWAYS_ going recompression for unrelated symptoms with unscrupulous practices like paying commission to dive operators or instructors for bringing their customers to them.

Ever ask how much an hour in a chamber is?
Ever ask whats the minimum time needed?

Sure i'm not saying its bad if your bent but should the first question be 'are you insured?' for them to say 'sorry, we can't help you', thats not a practice I'm familiar with.
