After reading everything you have published about Divers Alert Network and other diver insurance companies, and studying all of the comments in this forum, I have decided to cancel my DAN scuba diving insurance (after 15 years). I just don't want to support a company that overcharges scuba divers for diver insurance and deliberately endangers the diving public by harassing hyperbaric chamber operators around the world. I understand that diver insurance is a business, but hey, if you can't get chamber treatment because you are insured with DAN, you are a scuba diving fatality waiting to happen.
