As of April the lawsuit that prompted the rejection of the insurance has been settled. The issues, as I have been lead to believe, is over and your DAN insurance is once again good. Even better, I'm a member of DAN Europe who's insurance has not been part of this. It was only DAN America involved. It's time to change the ScubaPoll question to read "During its 3 month dispute over recompression chamber fees, Divers Alert Network risked that
divers insured by DAN could die or suffer debilitating injuries. Should divers trust DAN insurance in the future?" (And IMHO that's still pretty biased wording.) Happy Diving! |
