It really depends on which DAN franchise you bought it from and where you get injured (as others have correctly pointed out). As I see it, if you want full protection for scuba diving injuries, the best way to go would be to cancel your DAN regional insurance policy and go for the full global insurance. That means PADI, NAUI, DiveSafe, DiveAssure and just about any global insurance company other than the Divers Alert Network territorial plans. Fact is, we dive all over the world, not just in one DAN territory.
