Roger F - Divemaster/RN February 2, 2006 at 20:48:14 We can see in Iraq how important it is to get injured people who may be in shock stabilized immediately.  Just a few minutes can be the difference between life and death.  Never ever waste time chatting with somebody on the DAN diving emergency hotline.  Call 911 or your local EMS and get paramedics to the scene of the accident as fast as you possibly can.  Delaying emergency medical treatment by calling DAN could kill somebody.
