July 16, 2008 at 12:25:10The headline on your recent piece (Coral reefs face extinction, dive tourism primary cause of damage" is blatantly inaccurate and incendiary.
The article lists dive tourism as one threat to reefs, among others such as overfishing and disease. In fact, the author clearly states: "it's global warming that poses the most serious threat to the survival of coral." I suggest your headline writers read your articles more thoroughly in the future, and lay off the sensationalistic scare tactics. |
