SCUBA DIVING :: FORUMS :: NEWS :: CAYMAN ISLANDS ACCIDENT

Just plain wrong info...

In this article, it is stated that "Among companies that went belly up were Bob Soto's, the Cayman Islander, Divi Tiara, Fisheye, Indies Suites, ...".

As a former Indies Suites timeshare owner, let me tell you that Indies Suites "went belly up" because the owner decided to illegally sell the property out from under the timeshare owners to the local medical school college for dorm housing following Hurricane Ivan! It had nothing to do with diving which had been handled for several years by Red Sail. Fisheye (which is where I got my Nitrox cert) was in a shopping center that got wrecked by Ivan.
