Dave - Get your facts correct next time...Lucas Cornone - BSAC Advanced/Retail February 9, 2007 at 07:37:55Once again Dave despite your superior knowledge, you seem unable to read the thread for what if actually contains. Nowhere did I claim in this thread BSAC was superior.
Dave: "huff and puff about BSAC supremacy". Please quote me where I said this. To quote you: Dave "PADI Great Lakes orientation dive" Lucas "...it's not unreasonble to assume that you were actually offering some kind of offical specialty" Dave "It is unreasonable to make such assumptions" Obviously I was wrong in the fact that you are not offering any actually PADI training
despite that fact you stated "PADI Great Lakes orientation dive". Firstly you may not use the PADI name in anything that in not officially connected with PADI - or didn't thay teach you that in your IDC. Secondly, the lack of official PADI training when it is claimed that it is offered, is exactly where PADI gets a bad name. You have demonstrated a complete lack of knowledge about the Padi system. One that you claim to be an instructor of. Your instant leap to the defense of Padi has clouded your judgement. Yet another quote from you: "anti-PADI rant resembles the prejudice and stupidity of racists who blame". How does this thread even involve racism? You clearly do not comprehend the global scale of PADI. It is an international organisation. Getting back to the original thread - I understand perfectly the need for the correct suit -
it was you who incorrectly (again) refered to a dry suit, when the student was wearing a semi-dry suit. Please quote where alcohol was mentioned in the article. Get your facts correct next time. Lucas ps. Don't forget it's incident not accident. |
