Apparently, BSAC members are more likely to die or be injured scuba diving...

"How can the results for an entire country be to small a sample??? The UK has by some estimates 700,000 Divers.  Get a brain fool."  Andy Collins

Therefore BSAC's 37,000+ members amount to less than 5.5 per cent of UK divers.  But according to BSAC's own stats, every year BSAC members account for one third to one half of the reported accidents and in some years more than half of the fatalities.

Therefore BSAC divers are far more likely to die or be injured scuba diving than non-BSAC divers. (ATTENTION ALL BSAC SPIN DOCTORS: IT IS NOW TIME TO RESPIN ANDY'S "700,000 DIVERS").
