BSAC: "17 fatal INCIDENTS occurred during the 2005 INCIDENT year"...

According to BSAC "17 fatal (scuba diving) incidents -- NOT ACCIDENTS -- occurred during the 2005 INCIDENT YEAR".

WHAAAAAAT??????--"During the 2005 INCIDENT YEAR"??????

How quaint!!!--the "2005 INCIDENT YEAR"&*%!

It's a good thing all of those BSAC divers were not dying because they were victims of scuba diving accidents.  No, no, no--let's not worry: they were victims of what BSAC describes as mere "DCI incidents":   (...don't worry Nigel, it's just a DCI incident--take an aspirin and you'll be alright mate...)

"...the BSAC database contains 110 reports of 'DCI INCIDENTS' in the '2005 INCIDENT YEAR'".

Okay, I understand!  Why accurately report on thousands of annual global scuba diving accidents wherever BSAC is trading (Asia, Caribbean, South Africa, Canada, etc) when you can put up a bullshit smokescreen that deliberately deceives BSAC members into thinking that there were only "17 FATAL SCUBA DIVING INCIDENTS in 2005".

Even PADI, for all their faults, has never gone so far in deceiving the diving public.
