Why BSAC cannot compete globally (can you say British?)...

BSAC failed on the international stage because they were too stupid and too arrogant to drop the British nationalism theme way back in the last millenium when it became obvious to everybody else that future success would depend primarily on the ability to market products and services globally.

BSAC's myopic reports on scuba diving accidents (aka "incidents"), which deliberately exclude most of the scuba-related accidents that happen worldwide, speak volumes about BSAC's failure to attract non-British divers from around the world.  Even in the UK, where the appeal to British nationalism might be construed as a plus, BSAC is in decline.
