I've been reading Scuba Forum for years but this is my first post here.  I had to smile when I read the comment about BSAC being better because "the water is different in the UK". Reminds me of the Japanese trade minister back in the 1980s whose mission was to prop up Japan's winter sports equipment manufacturers that were stuggling to compete with foreign firms.  He claimed that foreign skis would not work in Japan because "Japanese snow is different".
